PSE Announces Credit for Customers Without Power 5 Days or More

PSE said it will offer customers with the longest outages a $50 credit on their bill, which could add significantly to the cost of the outage for the utility.

As of Monday morning, Jan. 23, hundreds of Sammamish and Issaquah Puget Sound Energy customers remained without power.

PSE may offer a small consolation to those who have been without power for an extended period of time, reported the Associated Press.

The utility will add a $50 credit to the power bills of customers who have been without power for five full days or more. Call PSE customer service (1-888-225-5773) to see if you qualify.

PSE crews have worked around the clock since the outages began last week. The utility enlisted the help of other crews that traveled from neighboring states and Canada, such as a group ofcontractors from British Columbia who worked to restore power along SE Jones Road on Sunday.
