What Small Businesses are You Thankful for?
With Black Friday and Small Business Saturday nearly upon us, Sammamish Patch wants you to help us highlight some of the small biz stars here.
Whether it's a hot cup of coffee from one of our espresso stands, a fantastic massage or a dry cleaner who always manages to resurrect your favorite suit, there are products and services in almost everyone's routine that make life in Sammamish a little better.
To honor Small Business Saturday (Saturday, Nov. 26) and Thanksgiving, Patch is asking you to post the products, businesses and practitioners in Sammamish you couldn't live without.
Is it breakfast, lunch--or now dinner--at Sammamish Café? Picking up paper supplies at Party Carousel? Or unwinding after a busy day at Urban Oasis Yoga?
Small Business Saturday, conceived by American Express to help spotlight the efforts of local small businesses, comes at the beginning of the big holiday shopping sprint — this Saturday — and encourages shoppers not to bypass Main Street for the mega-mall.
Sammamish Patch would love to hear which small businesses you can't live without here. Tell us in the comments which independently owned business is a must for shoppers this Saturday and why. Or, go to our listings pages and give your favorites a review — and give your favorite small business owner a shout-out! Your shout-out could help a sector of our economy that has created 65 percent of the net new jobs over the last 17 years.
So when you must get your nails done just right, sip on that perfect cup of coffee, discover that perfect bottle of wine, or have a craving for an amazing sandwich, where do you go time and time again?

The Gray Barn Nursery is a small, local business with a great selection of plants. Right now they have Christmas trees, wreaths, garland and an indoor holiday shop. It's nice to have something so close!

The Gray Barn Nursery sounds like a good one to visit for anyone with a large garden- like we have. Here's some of my Google "Knols" on NorthWest single-family homes. Jerry
