Issaquah Valley Trolley's #519 car is due to arrive back in Issaquah on Thursday, August 23. The car left Issaquah March 12 for a complete makeover by the Gomaco Trolley Company of Ida Grove, Iowa. In addition to installing modern systems and safety features, Gomaco converted the 1925 Lisbon car from narrow gauge to standard gauge.
Track improvements and installation of signals at the Front St. crossing were also part of the trolley project. Everything is set to go; all we need is the trolley car.

What a wonderful sight will return to the plaza when the sunshine calls back all the families with happy, giggling children.
Market day is a date of dinner out (side) & shopping (vegetables, fruits and now HedgeHog Toffee) with my husband. Doesn't get much better than that!
