Kelsey Fowlkes was among a select group of students recognized at Colorado College's Honors Convocation, held recently in Shove Memorial Chapel.
Fowlkes, a member of the Colorado College Class of 2013, received the Spirit Award.
Fowlkes is the daughter of Jerry and Teresa Fowlkes of Sammamish, WA.
Colorado College is a nationally prominent, four-year liberal arts college that was founded in Colorado Springs in 1874.
