Volunteer with ACS at the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon!!

Fighting cancer takes strength.....it takes courage....it takes determination. That’s why the American Cancer Society created the DetermiNation program - to help ordinary people achieve the extraordinary. With professional training, a community of support, and real inspiration offered every step of the way, we’ll help runners finish a marathon or half marathon and their achievement will help create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Our DetermiNation team has been training for the Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon since early March and have raised over $185,000. We need your support to make race weekend an experience to remember. Join us and volunteer at our private American Cancer Society tent at the finish line at the Seattle Center or at our waterstation along the race route at the corner of Rainier and Dearborn in Seattle! Multiple shifts are available and all volunteers will receive an official Race Crew t-shirt and community service hours.

Individuals and groups of all sizes are welcome so please use the link below to register today!

We too, love having our Farmers' Market return! Opening day was a bit weather-challenged. ThankRead More you merchants for enduring the wet and cold for our new extended hours! What a wonderful sight will return to the plaza when the sunshine calls back all the families with happy, giggling children. Market day is a date of dinner out (side) & shopping (vegetables, fruits and now HedgeHog Toffee) with my husband. Doesn't get much better than that! SEE YOUR THERE! Susan Gerend
