Issaquah Composer Bill Doerrfeld to have 5 orchestral works recorded in St. Petersburg, Russia

Issaquah resident for 19 years, Bill Doerrfeld is a classical and jazz musician.  Five of his works for orchestra are to be recorded by the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra in Russia this December, with the same conductor who has just brought this orchestra a Grammy nomination. After the recording, two of the pieces will be premiered on a gala concert. This is a HUGE deal!! The orchestra is excited to have this American composer bringing new works and we are excited beyond belief that Bill's work was chosen to be featured.  However, the reality is there is little funding in the arts, and as a result, we personally are funding the bulk of this project... (with money we do not have as of yet)  I'm asking our community to be a part of this:) and help with any financial contribution that you can.  Please, support the arts!  This is what supporting the arts looks like.... helping artists to be able to create great works! Please visit Bill's KickStarter page to hear and see what it is all about and leave a donation!!!  Cheers all!
