AS SUMMER APPROACHES, DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TEENS WILL BE DOING WHEN SCHOOL LETS OUT? UNSTRUCTURED AND UNSUPERVISED TIME CAN PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR TROUBLE, EVEN IN THE BEST OF FAMILIES! IF WANT TO BE
PROACTIVE, THEN COME AND JOIN US FOR NE OF OUR FINAL SAMMAMISH PLATEAU PARENT
NETWORKING MEETINGS OF THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR…

THE SAMMAMISH PLATEAU PARENT NETWORKING GROUP

was formed 15 years ago to educate, inform and
support parents in our community and to assist them in their most important job---raising healthy, happy and responsible young people. Our world today has
drastically changed from the way it was when many of us were growing up. We need to know what challenges face kids in our current culture in order to be prepared and to equip them with the necessary skills, tools and knowledge for navigating the tempestuous seas of adolescence. As we continue in our 16th year, the

Sammamish Plateau Parent Networking Group

PRESENTS:

A FREE WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS

Creating a Whole and Healthy Family

This is for parents who are concerned about their
kids who may be
struggling, or who just want to find
out how to assist their children
as they begin to traverse the treacherous terrain of adolescence

SPEND A COUPLE OF HOURS WITH BILL DEAN

Over the last 15 years Bill has worked with thousands of troubled teens, their parents and family members either one-on-one or in groups. He started and ran a very successful school for troubled boys
and has assisted hundreds of families to become whole and healthy through his coaching.

Come and learn from Bill about his experience in working with youth and families.  Ask him questions, learn about a different approach.

We too, love having our Farmers' Market return! Opening day was a bit weather-challenged. ThankRead More you merchants for enduring the wet and cold for our new extended hours! What a wonderful sight will return to the plaza when the sunshine calls back all the families with happy, giggling children. Market day is a date of dinner out (side) & shopping (vegetables, fruits and now HedgeHog Toffee) with my husband. Doesn't get much better than that! SEE YOUR THERE! Susan Gerend
