Faith Church’s Giant Garage Sale This Weekend

The Sale Raises Money For Habitat for Humanity

This Friday, 9/27 and Saturday, 9/28 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, crowds will swarm the giant garage sale held at Faith Methodist Church located in Issaquah at 3924 Issaquah Pine Lake Road. 100% of the proceeds of the sale are donated to Habitat for Humanity, says retired educator and the sale’s founder Jan Bennett.

Church member Dr. Amy Cottrille, DVM says, "the sale is worth shopping because of its size, the bargains and items including nice kitchen accessories, holiday items, sporting goods, clothes, furniture and toys galore."

Bennett says over 100 volunteers help make the sale possible. “It truly brings people together for a good cause,” says Bennett. Last year’s sale Bennett says raised close to $20,000 for Habitat for Humanity. The church partners with several non-profit organizations that serve the eastside including the Issaquah Hot Meal program.
