  • Where/When: The Sounders game starts at 7 pm on Friday and final round of the Sweet Sixteen is all day on Friday.
  • Why Go:If you're looking to stay local and catch some sports on TV this weekend, the Ale House is your best bet. But my sources tell me the volume will be muted. If you need that commentary, try Jokers in Issaquah or in Redmond. Good luck on those brackets and go Sounders!
  • Pricing: No cover.

  • Where/When: 7 pm on Friday and 1 pm on Saturday at the .
  • Why Go: Take one part comedy act and two parts circus perfomance, mix them together and you'll get Brothers From Different Mothers. The Brothers have performed all over the world and now they're bringing their show to the SecondStory Repertory. Be sure to see them while they're here!
  • Pricing: Tickets are $10.

Lake Sammamish Half Marathon

  • Where/When: Saturday morning, March 26 in Issaquah, Sammamish and Redmond. The run will take place along the East Lake Sammamish Trail.
  • Why Go: A half marathon isn't for everyone, but if you're feeling like you want to test yourself, this race would be the perfect place to do it. I'll start thinking about sunshine now.
  • Cost: Registration is $60. There will be NO registration on race day. Visit the event website to register and to see times. The run will begin early Saturday morning.

  • Where/When: This Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Crossroads shopping center in Bellevue.
  • Why Go: Treat your taste buds to a world of exotic flavors during this festival of global food and entertainment. Be sure to check out Bellevue Patch's of the event. It's full of pictures and everything you need to know about all three days.
  • Cost: Prices vary, there is a coupon book available for purchase from the Crossroads customer service that will save you some cash. Coupon books are being sold Thursday and Friday only.

Carmina Burana

  • Where/When: 2 pm on Sunday at the Benaroya Hall in Seattle.
  • Why Go: This concert is jam packed with Eastside talent. Carmina Burana will feature vocalists and musicians from the Kirkland Choral Society, the Cantaré Vocal Ensemble, the Bellevue Chamber Chorus and the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra. That's a 170-voice performance all taking place in in Seattle’s acclaimed Benaroya Hall.
  • Cost: You can buy tickets in advance for $25 from KirklandChoralSociety.org or $30 at the door. Sell-out risk is high.
