  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Happy Valley Grange in Redmond
  • Why Go: The Summer Solstice Ceramic Art Show will feature the work of 21 regional clay artists. The art show will also include clay demonstrations, Ikebana floral arranging, Raku firing and supervised “Play with Clay” for children. Come and celebrate the official start of summer and Father’s Day, watch a demonstration, let the kids pinch a pot and find your next perfect coffee mug.
  • Pricing: Admission is free.

  • Where/When: 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Sunday; walkers meet on the front steps of the Justice White House (Hotel Redmond).
  • Why Go: You may walk or drive through Old Redmond every day, but do you really know the story behind this historic part of town? Join the Redmond Historical Society for a walk through time and learn all about the good ol' days on this guided tour.
  • Pricing: $8 per person, pre-registration is required.

  • When: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday.
  • Why Go: If you're planning on preparing a Father's Day feast this Sunday, the Redmond Saturday Market is where you'll need to go for the fresh ingredients that will make that day special.   • Where/When: 10 a.m. Saturday at .
  • Why Go: Anyone interested in learning about history and the environment can join Sammamish Walks this Saturday for a guided tour of the area. The focus of this 1.2 mile walk will be plants and wildlife. Feel free to bring your cameras and binoculars. Sorry, no dogs.
  • Pricing: The walk is free, just sign up in advance.

  • Where/When: Daily at in Redmond. 
  • Why Go: Tired of the same old dinner and a movie? Try putting a new spin on your "date night" by visiting new luxurious iPic Theater. The new theater offers reclining chairs, pillows and blankets and in-cinema food and beverage service for the first 20 minutes of each show. The theater also has a restaurant and bar with menus.   • Pricing: Theater prices for seats range from $15 up to $27.

  • Where/When: 7 - 10 p.m. Saturday at the  in Bellevue.
  • Why Go: The Pacific Northwest doesn't see many high end fashion shows. So if fashion is your thing, you'll definitely want to check out designer, Nune Hov's Summer Nights show this Saturday night. In addition to the fashion show, the event will also feature live music from Fusion, a jazz band led by Max Levin and raffle prizes that include an original art package from modern surrealist Mariam Hovhannisyan.
