Redmond Town Center Sidewalk Sale & Arts Festival

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, in Redmond 
  • Why Go: Still in need of some new summer digs? This weekend will be the perfect time to hit up the Redmond Town Center, as the outdoor shopping center will host a sidewalk sale featuring Eddie Bauer, Macy's, REI and nearly 50 of its other retailers. But local arts and crafts vendors will also be a major draw, with more than 60 separate entities selling their wares. Food stands and live entertainment are sure to make the event a hit with non-shoppers as well.
  • Pricing: Admission is free

  • Where/When: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday at , 14450 Woodinville-Redmond Road NE, Woodinville.
  • Why Go: The annual event is one of the most popular among quilters. Fabrics have been designed exclusively for the Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop by In The Beginning Fabrics and Clothworks.  Participating shops provide one piece of the Shop Hop theme fabric from In The Beginning, one piece of a coordinate fabric from Clothworks, and one fabric of shop’s choosing. As you travel on the shop hop, have your passport stamped at each shop and receive a kit for a quilt block that will include the block pattern created by the individual shop as well as the three fabrics. To be eligible for prizes, turn in a passport stamped by at least 16 shops in Western Washington by Sunday at 5 p.m.  You must be 21 years old to be eligible for prizes.

  •  Where/When: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday , 510 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue.
  • Why Go: This is the last weekend for the exhibit which explores the use of fabric and fiber techniques such as knitting and crochet to help us fashion personal identity, whether through the clothing we wear or our cultural traditions. Bringing together 11 national and international artists, the exhibition is an exploration of fiber's potential to both address and shape who we are.
  • Pricing: $10 Adult, $7 Senior/Student, Free for members & children under 6, $25 family ticket 

Issaquah Farmers Market

  • When/Where: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Pickering Barn, 1730 10thAve. NW in Issaquah.
  • Why Go:For great produce and just to be around people, swing on by the weekly farmers market in nearby Issaquah. There's weekly musical entertainment, too. On Wednesdays, of course, Sammamish has its own from 4 to 8 p.m. at .
  • Pricing: Free to attend.

Master Chorus Eastside

  • When/Where: 3 and 7 p.m. Sunday at Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave. NW, Issaquah.
  • Why Go: Come listen to patriotic tunes performed by area residents, including people from Sammamish. With the Fourth of July approaching, it's a great way to celebrate the country. Master Chorus Eastside will perform gospel, frontier music and Americana. This year's theme is American Legends - so songs will reflect such heroes as Paul Bunyan and John Henry.
  • Pricing: All admission is $12. Family admission is $36. Tickets can be bought at the door. Also, there are two shows on Sunday.
