  • ICE SKATING AT CASTLE ICE

Where/When: Castle Ice Arena, Monday through Friday, 11 am to  2:45 pm; Saturday, 1:45 to 5:45 pm and 7:30 to 10 pm; Sunday, 1 to 3:30 pm.

Why Go: You don’t have to be an Olympian to love ice skating!

Cost: $7 for ages 6 and older, $5 for ages 5 and younger  

  • MOMTARO, THE PEACH BOY PUPPET SHOW

Where/When: Bellevue Youth Theater, 16661 Northup Way, Bellevue, Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm and 4 pm. This is a Thistle Theatre production.

Why Go: This popular story from Japan is presented by Thistle Puppet Theatre using beautiful Bunraku style puppets.

Cost: $9 for adults, $7 for children

Where/When: , Saturday, 1 p.m.

Why Go: Kids age 3 to 6 can learn all about bugs and other garden critters through songs, stories and puppets!

Cost: Free

  • “THE CRUCIBLE” FROM

Where/When: Youth Theatre Northwest, 8805 SE 40th St., Mercer Island, March 4 through 20

Why Go: See the classic Arthur Miller story about witch hunts and hysteria -- the message is as strong today as it was when it was first produced.

Cost: $17 for adults, $13 for youth
