Great Escape: Bowling - Great Back Then, Great Today
With a chill in the Sammamish air and rain expected next week, bowling offers great fun. It's indoors, too.
When was the last time you went bowling? This old standby has some fun new twists. An afternoon or evening in a bowling alley might just be the escape you need.
Tech City Bowl in Kirkland offers X-Bowl on Friday and Saturday nights. From 9:30 to 11:30 pm and midnight -2 am , you can reserve a session for $15 (shoes are included) and rock out to a live DJ, laser light shows and smoke machines.
Earn prizes by knocking down the yellow pin. Reservations are a must, as it is often sold out. People 21 years and older can enjoy a sports bar and a large food and beverage menu to make the night even more memorable. Fridays are also ladies' night with great drink specials.
AMF Sun Villa Lanes Bowling Center in Bellevue also offers an Xtreme Bowling night every Friday from 11 pm to 1 am. Enjoy a crazy night of music, lights and games along with a lane-side menu and drinks. Grab a few friends and hope your children sleep in the next day.
