Kures 4 Kids Aims to Help Disabled at Gilman QFC

Seeking a little shade from the bright sunshine, Kures 4 Kids owner Mike Gannon and Dan Barrios sought to raise funds for disabled children Monday at the shaded doors to the Gilman Boulevard QFC.

His organization, with the help of volunteers like Barrios, is to raise money for families of children with physical challenges who cannot obtain or afford health insurance for necessary mobility equipment - like wheelchairs and walkers.

Barrios said Kures 4 Kids is also working to support the 2014 Special Olympics.
