Each week, we take your questions, give advice and share solutions. This week, given recent talk at City Hall about possibly building a community center, one that might have swimming facilities, the question is: Given that Sammamish has grown in population since 2000, where do you take your family and kids for activities?
What places in Sammamish have you found that suit your needs? Or do you go to parks and recreation facilities in Bellevue, Redmond or Issaquah? Do you go to places such as the YMCA or the Boys & Girls Clubs? Or do churches or other places of worship provide space for recreation?
The city is scheduled to hold two meetings next week to discuss a possible community center.
