National Music Day, All-Instrument Flash Mob This Friday in Issaquah

Performers will make music in Olde Town Issaquah and Gilman Village from 4-9 p.m. on Friday, June 21.

Issaquah is making music on Friday, June 21, 2013, to celebrate National Music Day.

National Music Day is a day when people around the world celebrate the importance of music in our lives through free, open and accessible events. The event is celebrated in more than 450 cities and 100 countries.

Join the celebration in historic Olde Town Issaquah and Gilman Village from 4-9 p.m. June 21.

Make some beautiful music in an all-instrument flash mob performance of β€œLouie Louie” on the steps of Issaquah City Hall and Police Department, 130 E. Sunset Way, from 6-6:30 p.m.

Watch musicians perform as Olde Town merchants bring live music into businesses and restaurants for the night. Listen outside as bands play at the historic Hailstone Feed Store, Issaquah Library, Issaquah Train Depot, Pedestrian Park and more.
