One Click: Weekend Guide From Sammamish Patch

Friday has arrived. So, too, has One Click - from Sammamish Patch.

One good thing about Fridays: They arrive on a regular basis.

So, it's easy (or relatively so) to figure out when your weekend is going to start. Here, at Sammamish Patch, we try and dish up One Click, as much as possible, as a guide to guide for Friday, Saturday and Sunday activities in Sammamish and the Seattle area.

Good stuff is just that.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf: There will be a performance of this play on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at SecondStory Repertory in Redmond.

Scott Firefighter Stairclimb: If you want to cheer on more than 1,500 firefighters - including a team from Eastside Fire & Rescue - on Sunday, head on over to the Columbia Center in Seattle for the annual fundraiser. Firefighters will be running up the center stairs - as fast as they can while wearing their gear.

EMP Sound Off! 2011 Finals: Sammamish-area band, Fit For Hounds, will be playing on Saturday night at the Pacific Northwest's largest underage battle of the band competition. If you're from the Sammamish Plateau (or area), come cheer on the group. Here's video from the group's Feb. 19 performance at the competition.

Get Out: Let Elaine Benes' words help guide you in having fun (no pushing, though). Starting Friday night, there are some great things to do in Redmond. On Saturday, in Redmond, there's a wedding show (spring and summer are coming).

Great Escape: As the words imply, it's a good one. In fact, did you know that the Snoqualmie Casino offers a variety of activities? It does. Have a look at the story.

House Hunt: Speaking of spring and summer, there are houses for sale that will be open for weekend tours.

Grab & Go Kids Planner: Have kids? Getting ready for life with them? Sammamish Patch offers some great family best bets in this feature, produced by Ruby Slipper Guide to the Eastside.

Frugal Family: There are some weekly budget helpers for families. Have a look, yes, by clicking on the link.

Patch Picks: Yes, with talk of a possible community or aquatic center in Sammamish, here's a list of other swimming facilities in the Seattle region that you might want to visit. That is, if you like seeing how other cities and organizations have built them. Certainly, if the distance is too far to drive, have a look at their websites.

As Sammamish Patch comes across more events for the weekend, they will be added.
