Play Date! Great Family Events and Deals in the Sammamish Area

Here are fun activities and some sweet deals for the whole family this upcoming week.

EVENTS FOR FAMILIES, Sept. 14 – 21

Sept. 14: Free Kids Activity at the

Your kids might enjoy dinner at the market on Sept. 14. A variety of vendors offer all sorts of kid-pleasing meal options from pizza to pad thai. The kids' activity this week is make a mobile wind chime. Enjoy live music from Charlie Spring. Learn more about featured nonprofit organizations ARAS Foundation and the Master Chorus Eastside.

Sept. 15: Open House at the in Redmond

Parents and their children ages one to ten are invited to drop by to help OBS celebrate its two-year anniversary. Free refreshments and activities including art, yoga and mini language classes.  

4 to 6 p.m.

Cost: Free

Sept. 15: Preschool Story Time at the

10 to 11 a.m.

For ages three to six with an adult caregiver and siblings are welcome. Enjoy fun stories that build early literacy skills with music and activities designed for creative living.

Sept. 16: Waddler Story Time at the

10 to 10:45 a.m. and 11 to 11:45 a.m. (same program as 10 a.m.)

For ages nine to 24 months with an adult caregiver (Note: The age limit is enforced).

Enjoy stories, puppets, movement and music designed to specifically for walkers.

Sept. 17: Good Fest at

10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Don’t miss this great todderpalloza for Eastside families. 

Featuring performances by: Rhythm Village (11 a.m.), (1 p.m.), Brian Vogan & His Good Buddies (3 p.m.), and (5 p.m.). Plus, free train rides, a Center-wide monster search, temporary tattoo stations, balloon animals and much more! Plus, complete the Monster Search Scavenger Hunt during the event and receive a free backpack filled with surprises while supplies last.
