October 20: Nightmare at Beaver Lake at

• Family Scare 7 pm to 7:45 pm and Full Scare 8 pm to 10 pm
• Wind your way through indoor and outdoor scary scenes featuring live actors. The event is sponsored by the and created by local volunteers. The proceeds are donated back to the community and local and international charities.
• Nightmare at Beaver Lake continues through October 31. Complete schedule of hours is available online. 
• Cost: Family Scare $8 per person, Full Scare $12 per person. Bring a donation of a non-perishable food item and save $1 off your ticket.

October 21: Waddler Story Time at the

• 10 am to 10:45 am and program repeats at 11 am to 11:45
• For ages nine to 24 months with an adult caregiver. Age limit enforced.
• Enjoy stories, signs, puppets, movement and music designed specifically for new walkers.
• Cost: Free

October 21: Preschool Story Time at the

• 1 pm to 2 pm
• For ages three to six with an adult caregiver. Siblings are welcome.
• Enjoy stories, music and activities designed to build early literacy skills and promote creative learning.
• Cost: Free

October 21: Pizza and Picasso Night at Museo Art in Issaquah

• 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
• For ages six to twelve
• Kids enjoy food, music and creative fun. The evening begins with a lesson on this month’s featured artist Rembrandt then students choose from several open studio workstations featuring a variety of fun art activities.
• A great “parents night out” option for a date night.
• This month featuring Rembrandt
• Cost: $29 per participant includes pizza dinner. Sign up with a friend and you each save $10 (discount does not apply to siblings). Online registration required.  

October 22: Fall Festival at Camp Korey in Carnation

• 10 am to 4 pm
• Wear your boots and enjoy a variety of fun activities and great food including a hay ride, pumpkin pancake breakfast and corn maze.
• Cost: Hayride is free and the corn maze is $7 per person, kids under two get in for free. Purchase your breakfast or lunch for $6. Also for sale – pumpkins, gourds and cornstalks.
