Show Us Your Heroes for Veterans Day

Did you or a loved one ever proudly wear the uniform of a soldier, sailor, airman or Marine? Did they ever serve aboard a cruiser in the pacific, slog through the jungle in Vietnam, or bake in the desert heat of Iraq?

If so, there have got to be some good pictures or videos to show for it. Maybe they're in that old photo album that's buried in the foot locker, or maybe there are a few stuffed away in a salty old sea bag. If you're anything like me you've probably got a stack of them sealed away like treasures. 

In honor of Veterans Day, which is Friday, simply upload your photos by clicking the “Submit Your Photos” button above the main image. Make sure to add a caption telling us about your veteran and tell us that service member's story. You can also embed a YouTube video by pasting in a link.

I've started things off with a picture of my father, Robert J. Baldino, a Vietnam vet, and his father, Anthony Baldino, who flew on bombers in the Pacific during WWII. Go ahead and add your own and help make sure these brave men and women are never forgotten.
