Whiz Kids: Local Karate Students Earn Black Belts

True Martial Arts students Robert Parker, Sophie Clemmons, Levente Gulyas, Niveda Ganesh, and Michael Ko earned their 1st Degree Black Belts this week.

True Martial Arts in Sammamish were awarded 1st degree Black belts on Wednesday, Nov. 7th.


Robert Parker is a Junior at Issaquah High School. He’s been training for 11 years.

Sophie Clemmons is a Freshman at Skyline High School. She’s been training for 7 years.

Levente Gulyas is a 7th grader at Beaver Lake Middle School. He’s been training for 7 years.

Niveda Ganesh is a sophomore at Skyline High School. She’s been training for 9 years.
