Local social service agency, Eastside Baby Corner (EBC), is happy to announce its 3rd Annual Pants Party collection event on Saturday, September 8, from 10am-1pm at the EBC Warehouse-1510 NW Maple St. Issaquah, WA 98027. Last year EBC exceeded its goal of collecting 1,000 pants for children in need, and are increasing their goal to collect 2,000 pants in just 3 hours, to serve more children during the back to school season.
Attendees are encouraged to donate new or gently used pants for kids (sizes 5 to 14) that will directly benefit local children in need. Festivities are free, and include: activity and crafts booths from Macaroni Kid, Village Theatre, artEast/Artitudes Design, and the Evergreen School, treats and prizes donated by Trader Joes, QFC, Safeway, Fred Meyer, Carousel and Whitehorse Toys, and raffle gift certificates donated by Issaquah’s Zeeks Pizza and Ben and Jerry’s.
