Master Chorus Eastside’s popular
Celebrate America concert returns once again to Issaquah’s Pickering Barn in
two performances to commemorate the 4th of July.  American music of all styles, from early
Americana to folk tunes to spirituals and more stand side-by-side with Dr.
Linda Gingrich’s signature commentary to create an unforgettable Independence
Celebration on June 24th.  This
year’s theme is The American Melting Pot, and the songs, stories and sing
alongs that always play such a vital role in this concert will examine the
immigrant experience and the many threads that have intertwined to create our
American culture.  MCE is delighted to
welcome The Bottom Line Duo as our special guests, a cello/string bass (and
sometimes ukulele) husband-and-wife team who will blow you away with their
incredible talent and witty sense of humor.

We too, love having our Farmers' Market return! Opening day was a bit weather-challenged. ThankRead More you merchants for enduring the wet and cold for our new extended hours! What a wonderful sight will return to the plaza when the sunshine calls back all the families with happy, giggling children. Market day is a date of dinner out (side) & shopping (vegetables, fruits and now HedgeHog Toffee) with my husband. Doesn't get much better than that! SEE YOUR THERE! Susan Gerend
