During his talk, Morris will focus on placement of colorful annuals, and offer advice about upkeep of plants, herbs and vegetables.  He will show guests how to incorporate non-traditional items to add visual variety to garden space. Morris will also demonstrate how to start a garden, create beautiful flower displays, and even harvest vegetables from small plots of land.

“Oh la la, I get so excited about the beauty of plants,” says Ciscoe Morris. “Gardening in general is a smart way to stay active.  And, your exercise pays off when flowers bloom, fresh herbs are at your fingertips, and wholesome veggies are available for your favorite recipes.”

University House Issaquah residents enjoy fresh, organic vegetables and herbs from Chef Elon Wagoner’s on-site garden.  It is part of the community’s commitment to providing gourmet meals for residents and encouraging healthy lifestyles.

We too, love having our Farmers' Market return! Opening day was a bit weather-challenged. ThankRead More you merchants for enduring the wet and cold for our new extended hours! What a wonderful sight will return to the plaza when the sunshine calls back all the families with happy, giggling children. Market day is a date of dinner out (side) & shopping (vegetables, fruits and now HedgeHog Toffee) with my husband. Doesn't get much better than that! SEE YOUR THERE! Susan Gerend
