“Race to Nowhere” Screening

“Race to Nowhere:” This  award-winning documentary is finally coming to the Issaquah School District at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at the Issaquah High Performing Arts Center. The film explores the high-stakes, high-pressure environment that has invaded our children’s lives; the screening will be followed by a post-film panel during which audience members can discuss their reactions with students, teachers, parents, and principals.

Tickets are $10 online (advance purchase recommended) or $15 at the door at 5:30 p.m. if any seats are still available. The screening is part of Community Conversations, a film series focused on critical educational topics sponsored by the Issaquah Education Association, Issaquah Schools Foundation, Issaquah School District, and PTSA.
