The Arts Commission “Meet and Greet” event will be held at the Sammamish City Hall
on Monday, January 23, 2012, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

The Sammamish Art Commission creates programs with a focus on fine and cultural arts. Community members interested in helping out can look forward to working
to put on a classical music concert, a performance by the ACT Theater, the annual art fair, a poetry event, and other enriching activities.

“Studies prove that a happy community
is one that offers an environment vibrant with arts opportunities ranging from visual arts to music, theatre, literature, dance and the spoken word,”explained Daphne Robinson, Arts Commission Chair.  “Our Arts Commission continues to strive to engage, involve, inspire and inform through the diverse arts programs and
events that we host.  We are hoping that
Sammamish residents are looking to give back to this community by serving as
volunteers.”
