The Rookery Project: The First Flocking

The Rookery Project is based on one of nature’s most graceful and unmistakable works of art - the heron.  Standing motionless at lake's edge, or flying with slow, strong wing beats, they are an artistic flourish in the Northwest landscape. Thirty artists pay tribute to Issaquah’s Heron Rookery by capturing the beauty of this incredible bird in freestanding, 3-dimensional works in a
wide range of mediums and styles.

Join us for a public reception on April 6th, 6-8pm and then visit during the first flocking, on display April 16-23rd.

The flock will land in 3 groups: April, July and September.
