Salmon Return to Issaquah Creek

Salmon returning to spawn are arriving in Issaquah Creek this September.

The city of Issaquah released a video earlier today of the annual run of salmon returning to the Issaquah Creek Hatchery.

Salmon Days, one of the area's largest outdoor festivals, is set to run Oct. .
5-6, and the festival is still seeking volunteers to help keep everything running smoothly.

Salmon Days Volunteer Sign-Up Party to learn more about volunteering. The event is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 10, 2013, at Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave. N.W.

Enjoy a free dinner catered by Timber Ridge at Talus as you learn how to get involved in Salmon Days. You’ll also get a free T-shirt for signing up!

To volunteer at the festival, children younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent.
