Sammi Awards Foundation Names Julie Rackley 2013 Art Contest Winner

"Trout Fishing Generations" will be the artwork that sets the artistic tone for the upcoming Celebration of Community Service event on March 15.

The SAMMI Awards Foundation is pleased to announce that “Trout Fishing Generations,” submitted by Julie Rackley, was selected as the top winner this year.

Entries were submitted by artists from the Sammamish and surrounding areas.  Collaborating with artEAST, this juried art contest celebrates aspects of Sammamish that make it a great place to live, work and play as well as the talented artists within our local community. “Trout Fishing Generations” will be the piece that sets the artistic tone for the upcoming Celebration of Community Service event on March 15 for both the printed program book and video production. In addition, the entire 2013 collection will be on display during the reception portion of the event and all pieces will be included in the program book and highlighted during the onstage production.

The SAMMI Awards Foundation Celebration of Community Service event is FREE and open to the public. Please mark your calendar to join us at Eastridge Church — 24205 SE Issaquah Fall City Road, Issaquah, WA — for a Fun, Entertaining and Inspirational evening on Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m.
