Celebrate the Opening of the Sammamish Cafe on Wednesday

The Sammamish Cafe is holding its grand opening on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and the public is invited to attend its ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Sammamish Chamber of Commerce is getting the word out for the cafe, which has a 1940s theme and is located in the Saffron Center.

You can learn more about the cafe and see photographs on its Facebook page. It looked like the Sammamish Cafe had its first customers on Saturday morning, based on a Facebook note.

The owners also operate other cafes, such as in Issaquah and Redmond, and have a corporate website. The cafes all have the slogan: "Where it is never too late for breakfast."

Also, as of Saturday, it looked like the Sammamish Cafe was accepting applications for employment, based on Facebook posts.

While there is no specific box to check for a job at Sammamish Cafe, applicants are encouraged to select Issaquah or Redmond as the location and indicate interest in the Plateau.

But it's best to check about whether openings are available.
