'Fifty Shades of Grey' Author Coming to Lake Forest Park for Signing

E L James series has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.

E L James, the author of the on-fire publishing publishing phenomenon known as Fifty Shades of Grey, will be signing her books next month at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park.

The appearance is the only one in Puget Sound listed on her Web site. She will be on hand on Sept. 22 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the store, 17171 Bothell Way N.E. The tour also includes Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston and Minneapolis.

James' Fifty Shades trilogy—set in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest and which also includes Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed—is derisively described as "mommy porn" by some and as just not a very good book by others.

Whatever it is, the erotic adventures of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey are a hit and the subject of many book clubs. The series has sold more than 31 million copies worldwide.

We too, love having our Farmers' Market return! Opening day was a bit weather-challenged. ThankRead More you merchants for enduring the wet and cold for our new extended hours! What a wonderful sight will return to the plaza when the sunshine calls back all the families with happy, giggling children. Market day is a date of dinner out (side) & shopping (vegetables, fruits and now HedgeHog Toffee) with my husband. Doesn't get much better than that! SEE YOUR THERE! Susan Gerend
