Flower Baskets Return to Front Street in Downtown Issaquah

Twenty flower baskets will adorn Issaquah's historic Front Street this year as part of the Downtown Issaquah Association's efforts to beautify the area.

The Downtown Issaquah Association announced Wednesday that flower baskets in downtown Issaquah will returning to Front Street this springs, thanks to donations from a number of local businesses.

The downtown business boosters announced they would be able to hang 20 baskets along Front Street during the spring and summer.

The Downtown Issaquah Association said it would also be sending out dozens of mother’s day cards on behalf of everyone who donated $50.

The following individuals and businesses who donated $250 for the cost of one basket and maintenance for five months: Art By Fire, Robyn Barfoot and Jack Kropp Cougar Mountain Zoo, Chris Borders Au.D. Doctor of Audiology, Christian Science Reading Room, Eastside Consultants Inc. Engineers-Surveyors, Experience Tea Studio, Fischer Meats, Vino Bella Wine Bar, and Katie and Jeff Weaver.Β  Amante Pizza on Front Street will receive a plaque to hang downtown for their $1000 contribution.
