Historical Mural to Adorn New Wells Fargo Issaquah Highlands Branch

The new Wells Fargo store will feature six teller windows, an ATM, and a historic mural highlighting the neighborhood's unique history.

Construction is close to completion on a new Wells Fargo banking branch in Issaquah Highlands, 1527 Highlands Dr. NE. The banking branch — or "store", as Wells Fargo calls them — is set to open Monday, Oct. 14.

The new store will feature six teller windows, an ATM, a historic mural highlighting the neighborhood’s unique history (see attachment with Mural Key), and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Silver-certified design.

Safe deposit boxes aren't available at the new branch, but those services are offered by Wells Fargo at nearby locations: 1190 Gillman Blvd. in Issaquah and in the Pine Lake area of Sammamish at 2924 228th Ave SE.

Branch Manager Francis Fong will lead about 12 Wells Fargo team members who will provide a complete range of financial services, including consumer and business banking, loans and lines of credit, financial investing, mortgages, and insurance services.

The new store will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. This is the fourth of five new Wells Fargo locations to be open by early 2014.

The new locations and estimated opening dates are below:

  • Capitol Hill, Seattle: 401 Broadway Ave E., opened June 20
  • South Lake Union, Seattle: 510 Terry Ave. North , opened July 22
  • Silver Firs, SE Everett, 5802 134th Place SE, opens Oct. 3
  • Kelsey Creek (Bellevue): 15015 Main Street (Kelsey Creek Shopping Center), early 2014

“We are excited to add an additional location to the Issaquah community,” said Adam Glasser-Weinstein, Wells Fargo’s Lakeside district manager. “We see this as an investment in our customers, team members and the entire Eastside community. Great customer service starts with a comfortable banking environment for our customers to do their business.”
