Update: Sammamish Parkway McDonald's Reopened

On Dec. 29, the King County Public Health Department closed an Issaquah McDonald's store, but it was reopened as of 10:45 a.m. Dec. 30.

The McDonald's on Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast is open for business again today. So far, the company has not responded officially to requests for comments, but the closure appears to have been related to possible intermittent water shutoffs during installation of new equipment at the store, which is being remodeled.

The McDonald's located at 5526 E. Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE, in Issaquah, was closed by Public Health on Dec. 29, 2011 at 3 p.m. for the following violations:

  • Poor personal hygiene practices
  • Handwashing facilities unavailable
  • Imminent health hazard: No water supply

The establishment will be reopened once the inspector confirms that all issues have been resolved.
