Readers’ Choice Poll: Where is the Best Outdoor Dining Spot in Enumclaw?

Vote in our poll and let us know in the comments.

The weather this past weekend was flawless: a strong summer-like sun sitting in the clear blue sky with the gentlest of breezes kissing your vitamin D-starved skin. And then there was Mount Rainier all big and white and impressive in the background. How many of you took the opportunity to sit outside on either Saturday or Sunday and enjoy a meal under the sun, taking in the glorious natural beauty that surrounds you on the Plateau?

We’re asking readers to tell us about and choose their favorite outdoor dining spot in Enumclaw in this week's Readers' Choice Poll.

Vote for your favorite in the poll below: Dining Terrace at , Mt. Baldy's Barbeque, a picnic/barbeque at , sandwiches at the top of or an outdoor barbeque at Mud Mountain Dam.

And click on the links above and rate the business (where provided) on its Patch Directory listing. You can also leave a review to let your neighbors know why you love it.

Editor's Note: This topic sits in a grey area compared to those we've had past in that we realize 'outdoor dining' really includes two factors: food and ambience. The choices above reflect some creativity on our part with an emphasis on ambience while including those we know have outdoor seating. However, if you have a favorite based on food and/or ambience that's not listed, please tell us in the comments and we can still add it to the poll early on.

In the event of a tie, we will break it based on the comments here and reviews on the Patch Directory listing, so please explain your choice.

The poll closes at 9 a.m. Friday, and we’ll announce the winner later that day.

Don't see your favorite place? Tell us in the comments section. Have a favorite in the next town over? Vote for the best outdoor dining spot in Bonney Lake/Sumner or Renton, too.

Because our poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be based on a point system in which poll results and Patch Place ratings are weighted equally. In the event of a tie, the Patch editor will determine the winner based on comments and reviews on Patch Places. For full contest details, see the attached PDF with the rules. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

I also love to go to the Federation State Forest Park and picnic by the river. When at work I can also walk over to City Hall Park and pull up a picnic bench and enjoy my brown bag lunch there.

Thanks for the additional input, Trudy. I'm told Federation is a beautiful destination as well but would like to try and keep this poll to nothing farther than the equivalent of the distance from Enumclaw to Nolte or Mud Mountain. Happy to add City Hall though -- saw kids playing flag football there this evening!
