“We are thrilled to expand our campus to include a variety of new offerings for our students,” said Campus Director Lynne Petitjean. “With new individual learning rooms and a new design, we look forward to serving our current students even more effectively.”

The new design of the Sammamish Plateau Campus will provide enhanced learning opportunities with 14 individual learning rooms to reduce distractions. These rooms have windows facing the hall to retain a sense of being a part of the whole campus. More space also means that there will be an increase in availability during the most popular hours of the day.

There will also be a student gathering area and lunch room to provide students with a comfortable space that encourages socializing during break times. A mobile science cart will allow students to complete more complex labs with safety in mind. And there will also be a new, quiet study area with computers for independent work and customized furniture in each room that includes a custom-designed desk that effectively supports one teacher working with one student.

The new campus will have the same instruction and schedule and the same teachers and no interruption in services.

“One-to-one instruction at Brightmont Academy fully individualizes the learning process to effectively address a wide range of learning challenges,” Wilson said. “This is a proven model that addresses a range of student needs—from those with learning difficulties to those who just need learning support to graduate or even students who would like to accelerate their studies.”

Brightmont Academy offers a flexible, engaging learning environment. Students have three enrollment options. They can attend full time and earn a diploma issued by Brightmont Academy, take courses to earn credit toward a diploma issued by their local high school or receive K-12 tutoring support. Students can enroll at any time during the year or just for summer school.

Parents can tour the new school and learn more about the value of one-to-one instruction today by contacting the campus at (425) 836-1600. The new campus is located at 4570 Klahanie Drive SE Suite 401, Issaquah, WA 98029.
