Drawing Tonight as Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $320 Million

The drawing takes place at 8 p.m. tonight.

On Wednesday, March 20, the Powerball jackpot rolled over to $320 million. That’s enough money to buy every resident in Garfield County (2,250) a brand new seaplane (up to $100,000).

The Powerball jackpot has only reached $320 million or more four other times since Washington joined the game in January 2010. It reached $325 million on February 11, 2012; $320 million on August 15, 2012; $325 million on November 24, 2012; and $550 million on November 28, 2012.

The odds are pretty long on actually winning the jackpot, but local residents have recently won smaller prizes from the state lottery in the past. The most recent was Issaquah resident Teresita Clark, who won $170,000 in 2010.
