Eastside Fire & Rescue crews extinguished a house blaze Thursday afternoon in southwest Sammamish, between Pine Lake and Lake Sammamish, the agency reported.

No one was home at the time and crews consider the fire to be small, Eastside Fire spokeswoman Josie Williams said. Around 3:30 pm, when the call for help was received, at least six fire trucks were dispatched to the house near 212th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 40th Street.
