Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt Saturday Draws Thousands to Sammamish Family YMCA

It took just 30 seconds for over 8,000 Easter eggs to disappear into the baskets of joyful children at the Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt at the Sammamish Family YMCA on Saturday.

Volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Sammamish sponsored the egg hunt while over 80 volunteers organized fun at several game booths and activites. The Easter Bunny even made an appearance outside before the Egg Hunt dash commenced.

Organizers estimated that around 3,000 people would visit the festivities, thanks in part to the unseasonably warm and suny weather in the mid-to-upper 60s.
