The past week's sunshine is a warm welcome to opening day at many parks and scenic locations around Mt. Rainier.
Here is a list of opening dates for access roads and parks for the 2013 spring season, from Visit Rainier:
Cayuse Pass/Hwy 123: May 3, 12 p.m.
Jackson Visitor Center: opens daily starting May 4
