Update: Wednesday Weather Forecast

The Winter Storm Warning continues for Sammamish and Issaquah, but the system will likely turn to a rain/snow mix by tomorrow.

The National Weather Service has predicted one to three inches of snow on Wednedsay, with the system tapering off tonight and turning to rain and snow after 10 a.m. tomorrow. Issaquah can anticipate two to four inches of snowfall today.

Here's the full forecast for Sammamish as of Wednesday morning:

Today: Snow. High near 31. North northeast wind around 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. 

Tonight: Snow likely, mainly after 4am. Cloudy, with a low around 28. North northwest wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

Thursday: Rain and snow likely, becoming all rain after 10am. Snow level rising to 800 feet. Cloudy, with a high near 36. West northwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

Thursday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 34. Southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Friday: Rain. High near 46. South wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Friday Night: Rain. Low around 40. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Saturday: Rain. High near 44. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
