The 10th Anniversary of 9/11 is Sunday: Where Were you When the Attacks Happened?

Sammamish Patch asked community members to recall as the nation prepares to remember those who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001.

As the nation on Sunday remembers the decade since the 9/11 attacks occurred, Sammamish Patch spent part of Thursday asking residents and community members a simple question: Where were you when you heard the news?

There is no doubt, of course, that the terrorist attacks marked a turning point in modern American history. On the Plateau, on Thursday, Sammamish Patch came across a resident, teacher and a firefighter who talked about their experiences.

Sammamish Patch also would like to open up the conversation to everyone - just to see where people were, what they recall and what they did after watching TV news pictures, listening to the radio, checking websites or getting a phone call from a loved one.

So: Where were you on 9/11? What do you remember? What did you do?
