On the evening of Thursday, Aug. 9, the celebration of Krishna's birthday should bring a lot of traffic to the along 228th Avenue. The center, also referred to as the Krishna Temple, is just south of Skyline High School.
The festivities, running from 7 p.m. until after midnight, may draw around 4,000 attendees. To help with traffic and parking, the event organizers have hired three off-duty police officers.
