Traffic Alert: NE Park Drive Road Construction in Issaquah Highlands
Starting April 29, lanes of Park Dr. NE will be closed for several weeks to allow construction of a pedestrian crosswalk and driveways.
Motorists should prepare for construction-related lane closures in Issaquah Highlands soon, according to an Issaquah public works traffic alert.
Starting Monday, April 29, 2013, one of the two westbound lanes of Northeast Park Drive at the intersection of Northeast Federal Drive will be closed during the day as crews construct commercial driveways and two crosswalks. For the most part, work will be limited to 10 a.m.-5 p.m., although construction on one new driveway will be allowed to start at 9 a.m.
This work will initially restrict use of the left lane and then shift to the right lane.

A notice about the work will be posted on the variable message board near the intersection of Northeast Park Drive and 10th Avenue Northeast.
These improvements will ultimately provide new driveways to the commercial areas. The project will also allow for pedestrian movement across Northeast Park Drive that is anticipated with the opening of new shops, restaurants and a movie theater.
