Veteran's Day Holiday: What's Open, What's Closed
Many government offices, including cities and schools closed Nov. 12.
Veteran's Day is Nov. 11, which falls on a Sunday this year. However, many, but not all, government offices will observe it on Monday, Nov. 12. Here is a list of what’s open and what's closed.
Issaquah City Hall and Sammamish City Hall are closed Monday.
Issaquah School District and Lake Washington School District: Closed Monday, classes will resume Nov. 13.

King County government: Closed. King County Elections will continue to count ballots.
King County Library System was closed Sunday for the holiday, but will be open Monday.

King County Metro: Reduced weekday schedule.
King County Transfer Stations (Garbage): Open.
Sound Transit: Regular weeday Schedule.
State of Washington: Closed.
Federal government (including the U.S. Postal Service): Closed
Banks: Many, if not most, will be closed. Check your local branch.
Express delivery companies: FedEx and UPS will be open.
Waste Collection: Regular recycling and garbage service in Issaquah and Sammamish from Allied Waste, Wate Management, and CleanScapes.
