Community Corner

Assistive Technology Night

New technologies are revolutionizing the workplace for people with disabilities.  On October 16, 7:00 p.m., the Issaquah Community Network will host an Assistive Technology Night at the Issaquah High School Performing Arts Center "black box."  This workshop is especially aimed at parents of youths with disabilities, but it is also perfect for students, teachers, counselors, business owners, and techies interested in the latest, coolest devices.
Our featured speakers are Brandi Monts from WISE, Bill Youngman from the DSHS Divison of Vocational Rehabilitation, and Hillary Rossi from AtWork! This event is FREE, paid for by funding from the DSHS Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.  Our co-hosts are the Eastside Community Network and the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network.  Anyone, from anywhere, is welcome to attend!  RSVP by emailing assistivetechnight@gmail.com.
