Understanding Medicare Benefits & New Rules in 2014

Medicare
changes are being enacted into law, and open enrollment for 2014 ends December
7, 2013.  Now is the time for those
65-years-old and older to consider their options and make choices about health
care preferences.

University
House Issaquah, located at 22975 S.E. Black Nugget Road, is hosting an informational event to help older adults understand their Medicare options and the changes
set to take place with Medicare coverage in 2014.

Understanding
Your Medicare Benefits,
takes place Tuesday, October 22nd from 10:30am –
12noon.  Careage Home Health Social
Workers, Danielle Harthorne and Chris Strand help seniors navigate Medicare
benefits by explaining how they are applied in different healthcare settings,
and whether services are covered under Medicare part A, part B, part C or part
D.  They will also help clarify
which services qualify for coverage and why certain rules apply in different
settings.
