The Redmond Youth Partnership Advisory Committee (RYPAC) continues its Girls Unlimited series with their third event of the year on Saturday, April 30 from 10 to 2 pm at the RedmondSenior Center, 8703 160th Ave NE.
Targeting young women grades 7 and up, this event will be a fun, interactive day inspiring and equippinggirls to lead with confidence in all areas of their lives. Local community leaders will teach hands-onsessions to help young women be confident in the skills and abilities they bring to this world; to addresskey issues, such as fear of failure, that hold girls back from effective leadership and to effectively getideas heard.
Girls Unlimited began as a conference to help empower young women in the community to take chargeof their lives and actively participate in the changes that lie ahead. One outcome of the conference was adesire to see girls exposed to a variety of skills and activities.
