Sammamish-area parents, do you need some time without the kids? At least for a few hours?
The Sammamish Family YMCA is holding its Parents Night Out event on Friday evening. Let your kids, ages 4 to 11 years old, enjoy carnival-style games for the evening.
The YMCA will provide supervision, led by Stacy Holdren, youth development director.

In addition to carnival games, kids will be able to swim, participate in arts and crafts and decorate cookies. The YMCA will provide juice and snacks.
Kids can bring a sack dinner, if they'd like. Children need to be YMCA facility or program members to participate. The cost for a facility member is $15 per child and $25 per child for a program member.

To swim at this Parents Night Out event, a child must pass a swim test.
