Songea Soiree Benefit Dinner

Songea Soiree is a benefit dinner for Songea's Kids, a Sammamish-based non-profit raising funds to support orphans in the Songea region of Tanzania.

Songea's Kids is currently supporting 64 children with basic needs such as health care, nutrition and school supplies, in addition to building 'Hope Village' which, when completed, will house 160 orphans in the region.

The event features keynote speaker Jawad Khaki, a native of Songea and former Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Corporation, plus video aerial photography of the construction of Hope Village - which will provide housing, health care and educational opportunities for children in the Mshangano Village in Songea.
